Power Rules of Exponents
Fact-checked:
There are six power rules in exponentiation and here is the list of the formulas in algebraic form.
Power Rule
$\large {(b^m)}^n \,=\, b^{mn}$
Power Zero Rule
$b^0 \,=\, 1$
Negative Power Rule
$\large b^{-m} \,=\, \dfrac{1}{b^m}$
Radical Power Rule
$\large b^{\frac{1}{n}} \,=\, \sqrt[\displaystyle n]{b}$
Rational Power Rule
$\large b^{\frac{m}{n}} \,=\, \sqrt[\displaystyle n]{b^m}$
Power 1 Rule
