# Graphical Representation of a set

A method of expressing a set in graphical system is called graphical representation of a set.

Generally, we collect objects in closed packaging to keep them safe or to carry them easily. The same concept is used to develop the graphical representation of a set in mathematics.

For example, some objects are considered and they are apples. They are sealed in a plastic bag to collect them. The collection of apples is a set mathematically. The way we are seeing the collection of them, is used to express a set in graphical system.

Hence, closed geometric shapes such as circle, ellipse, triangle, square, rectangle or any other closed geometric shape can be used to show the collection and the elements are displayed inside the closed geometric shape to express a set in graphical system appropriately.

## Example

Graphical Representation of a set

Elements are numbers in mathematics. So, numbers are displayed inside any closed geometric shape to represent a set in graphical system in mathematics.

$1,2,3,4,5,6$ and $7$

All these numbers are some of the natural numbers. So, the collection of them forms a set.

A closed geometric shape is considered to display the collection and the elements are displayed inside that shape to represent the set in graphical system.
